Grateful!
Happy Thanksgiving!! We are so grateful for this time we are having in Hawai‘i, for our friends and family at home who we miss and who have supported this adventure, for friends and family who have visited and who have visits planned and for the friends who have here in Hawai‘i who have taken us in as ohana!

Waiting ever so patiently for the mocks to arrive!

First night and they were in the water!

They dug soooo many holes in our beach this week lol!

Silly boys post a dole whip at Dole plantation!

Crazy rainbow over Haleiwa.

Made a friend at laniakea beach.

More holes...

Hale Koa for Mai Tais and sunset.

Pool time at the Hale Koa.

Beers on the beach!

Introducing Carter and Dani to Island Snow!

The turtle we didn’t notice till we looked back at our pics....ooops!

Selfie! As crazy as this mask looks it is so much better than a regular mask and snorkel, I’m a convert!

Carter and Finnegan headed out.

See the little brown thing sticking up...a turtle! They were everywhere on our paddle out to the waves, so cool!

Had to try a little kalbi too!

The performance in Fiji.

Catching up post Maui....the day after we got back from Maui the Mocks arrived! We were all excited to see friends from home and the boys were psyched to have a friend here. We enjoyed a great week with them!

We went back to Secret Beach on MCBH that we discovered with Kath but this time it was high tide and we brought snorkel stuff. It was really cool!!

On Sunday morning it was time to head back to Waikiki to surf! Carter and the boys rocked it! The adults loved it too! Ted tried stand up paddle board surfing this time and really liked it. We were so busy paddling out and surfing I really didn’t get too many pics unfortunately.

On Tuesday Ted was post call so we got tickets to the Polynesian cultural center and headed north. On the way we decided to take a pit stop at the food truck spot we had found a few weeks before. Turns out a Tuesday is a great day to not have to wait crazy long at Giovanni’s shrimp truck. Sooooo delicious!
Had to try a little kalbi too!

On Thanksgiving morning I had 2 fantastic assistants who made the pumpkin pie and the hard sauce with minimal assistance!
We said aloha to the Mocks as they trekked off to the Big Island. We picked up Brandi and headed off to spend Thanksgiving with her over at Lex and Liz’s. Lex is also a radiologist at Tripler. A big thank you to them and their family for including us. We wrapped up Thanksgiving with popcorn, special drinks, ice cream and Moana at Brandi’s! Doggy snuggles, treats and 2 movies was a great way to wrap up the day!
Hope all of our friends and family on the mainland had a wonderful holiday!!
