Last few days....
Kaleigh arrived last Wednesday. Before we picked her up on Wednesday afternoon the boys had their first ukelele lesson! Toby at Kailua Music School was fantastic. Thanks to Brandi and Maria for the ukuleles for Christmas!

At the airport.

Beach time!

Yummy!

Lilikoi foam!

Tattoos!

Pulling in the fishing nets

Our dinner is buried under there!

There’s dinner!

The building was beautiful!

We had the shrine to ourselves on the USS Arizona memorial as our tour guide today didn’t give the tip to head all the way back first. Note to anyone coming here head straight back to the shrine then look around the rest of the memorial.

Kaleigh has helped us on our search for the best ramen over the last few days. She has enjoyed it all except maybe the jellyfish.
Yummy!
On Sunday, Ted and Kaleigh jumped out of an airplane at 14,000 feet over the North Shore...lunatics!!
While they were being crazy the boys and I were learning how to code the little Evo robots they got for Christmas! Highly recommend them, they are really cool!
Sunday night we went to Paradise Cove for a luau. Right down the road from Paradise Cove was the restaurant with my favorite Mai Tai from Maui, monkeypod. Obviously we stopped there first!

I would say if I had to pick one luau to go to I would pick the paradise cove over the Polynesian cultural center. We liked them both but you can’t beat the beach and the sunset at paradise cove.
Today we took Kaleigh to see Pearl Harbor. On our way we tried for the third time to have lunch at the NOAA office on Ford Island that Nic had told us about. We finally made it and it was delicious!

Tonight we finally watched the new Hawaii 5-0, we all really like it! And it’s pretty fun to see all the sites and know where they are.
We have a few more days of adventure planned with Kaleigh, no more planes I promise!
Aloha!
