Shirokiya Japan Village Walk

Saturday turned into a rainy afternoon so after a delicious breakfast of açaí bowls in town we had a lazy afternoon watching of all things “Chicken People”, imagine best of show meets chickens lol!  So Saturday night we decided to try a new spot that somehow we had missed to date, the Shirokiya Japan Village Walk.  It is kind of hidden in the first floor of the Ala Moana Mall and it is insane lol!  It is a huge food court and every food stall has a different variety of Asian food. There was more ramen than I’ve ever seen.  And randomly a Mexican and an Indian stall.  And everything we ate was delicious!

Japanese toy section.  You had to get special tokens to buy the toys. Don't worry we came home with plenty!

$2 kirins and $8 pitchers.  Which we quickly realized made this place very popular with the 20 something crowd as the night got later.

A temple area

The boys new friends Parker and Mason.  Their dad is a radiologist at Tripler with Ted.  It’s been fun to have another family to hang out with.

From the parking lot as we were leaving.

Hoping we can make it back for some more good eats before we head back to NH.  Not to worry our flights home got booked Saturday before we headed to Japan Village.
