Pearl Harbor Day

Today was the 76th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.  Since arriving in Hawai‘i we have all learned a lot about that day and it’s effect on our history.  The boys have read books, we have been to museums and visited memorials.  Today we went downtown and attended the parade in honor of all who served and especially those who gave their lives that day.  There were a handful of Pearl Harbor survivors there which was amazing to see.  I’m so glad we were able to attend.
