Day 4
It seems maybe, just maybe the jet lag is passing. The whole house was up at 6:15 with ted up first. Yes you read that correctly and he didn’t need to be up lol! I have to say I kinda like starting our day with the sun! Ted went in for his second day of in processing as we headed to the beach.

The boys and I hit the beach early as I have decided my fair skinned boys have no business being on the beach mid day! I caught up with friends in NH while the boys swam. And then out of the blue a sea turtle swam by! They missed it of course and I wasn’t quick enough with the camera but about 10 minutes later another one swam by and I got video!! Here is a snapshot from the video, the brown thing in the water on the left is a Honu!
Post beach we made our way to the swap meet at the Aloha Stadium. It was something! The boys each got a honu necklace and couldn’t have been happier. They have already made several lists of who they are buying what for the next time we go!
We had to return our original rental car and kill some time before Ted could pick us up so we took an Uber to target. Even in Hawai‘i it is a great place to kill time and spend well over $100 without really trying. The best part was that the employees wear Target inspired Hawaiian shirts and there was an “Aloha Shop”.
I hope all of you are enjoying the blog! It is as much to share our adventure with all of you as it is to keep a journal that we can look back on when this adventure is over. So I’m sorry if it is rambly or too much at times. I want all of us to be able to go back and read this and remember when :). Aloha!
PS so far all children are awake and it’s after 8 pm, a first since we got here!
